What this site is
This site connects Northwest Arkansas homeowners with independent local septic professionals. We are not a contractor and we do not perform septic work. When you call or send the form, your request goes to a local professional who serves your area, and that professional handles the diagnosis, the quote, and the work. The contractor you hire is solely responsible for the work performed.
Why it exists
Septic is a market where the customer usually knows nothing and the bill can run five figures. The fix for that is not another brochure site; it is real numbers with real sources. Every cost figure here is quoted from a named, dated national cost guide, HomeGuide 2026, Angi 2026, HomeAdvisor's June 2026 updates, ConsumerAffairs 2026, Forbes Home, This Old House, plus the U.S. EPA for maintenance standards and the Arkansas Department of Health for how permitting actually works. When sources disagree, we show both figures and name them, like the aerobic system range where four sources say $10,000 to $20,000 and HomeGuide says $20,000 to $40,000+. You will not find a blended, invented number on this site.
The standard we hold
- Sourced numbers first. You should know the going rate before anyone is in your driveway.
- The cheapest fix that reliably works is the right recommendation. Nobody should be sold a drain field when a baffle is the problem.
- Plain answers about coverage. If your address is out of range, you get told, not strung along.
- No fake urgency. Backups are genuine emergencies and get treated like it; everything else gets scheduled honestly.
The area
Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and the surrounding Washington and Benton County communities, including Goshen, Elkins, Farmington, Prairie Grove, West Fork, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, and the Beaver Lake country. This region's karst geology and its drinking-water watershed make septic a bigger deal here than in most places, and that context runs through every page on this site because it is true, not because it sells.
