What this site is
We connect Northwest Arkansas homeowners with independent local septic pros. We're not a contractor and we don't do septic work ourselves. When you call or send the form, your request goes to a local pro who works your area, and they handle the diagnosis, the quote, and the job. Whoever you hire owns the work they do.
Why it exists
Septic is one of those markets where the homeowner usually knows nothing and the bill can run five figures. Another glossy brochure site doesn't fix that. Real numbers with real sources do. Every cost figure on this site comes straight from a named, dated national cost guide: HomeGuide 2026, Angi 2026, HomeAdvisor's June 2026 updates, ConsumerAffairs 2026, Forbes Home, and This Old House, plus the U.S. EPA for maintenance standards and the Arkansas Department of Health for how permitting actually works. When the guides disagree, we show both numbers and name them, like the aerobic range where four sources say $10,000 to $20,000 and HomeGuide runs $20,000 to $40,000+. You won't find a blended, made-up figure anywhere here.
The standard we hold
- Sourced numbers first. You should know the going rate before anyone pulls into your driveway.
- The cheapest fix that actually works is the right call. Nobody should get sold a drain field when a baffle is the real problem.
- Plain answers about coverage. If your address is out of range, you'll hear it, not get strung along.
- No fake urgency. A backup is a real emergency and gets treated like one. Everything else gets scheduled straight.
The area
Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and the Washington and Benton County towns around them: Goshen, Elkins, Farmington, Prairie Grove, West Fork, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, and the Beaver Lake country. The karst geology under this region and the drinking-water watershed it feeds make septic a bigger deal here than in most places, and you'll see that context on nearly every page. We include it because it's true, not because it sells.
